I finally tried my hand at the homemade laundry soap.

And to reward myself for being so industrious and frugal... I had to get me some pretty glass jars to show off my hard work. And I just couldn't stop there. Oh no. I went on and got some cutesy vinyl decal labels too.
I was really tired of having a pile of lonely single socks in the laundry room. Now they have a home.
Hey, anything to make doing laundry a little more fun.
*Edited to add....since some have asked where I got the decals for the jars, I thought I'd just add it to the post here. I got them from Etsy.com. The lady I ordered them from does not have them listed anymore, but there are LOTS of others on there. Many , many choices! And most are around 8-10 bucks per set of 3.

Very cute idea!! Love it.
You could also get the laundry room sign that says, "Laundry today or Naked tomorrow."
let us know how you like the "SUDS"... really cute!!!
Very nice! When I get my laundry room fixed up, to look like a laundry room, I am going to have glass canisters for my soap just like you! I love them. Your baskets are very cute, too.
Hugs, Cindy
My sister makes a homemade laundry soap and likes it. (I haven't ventured to try to find all the ingredients in SPANISH! ;)
Your laundry room is adorable! Love the canisters and labels, the cute bin holding the wooden clothes pins, etc. I was so happy to buy bambo clothes pins here...and then they all molded in our last house. Grrr! =( Everything looks lovely!
Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog...loved hearing from you!
I hope you and baby are feeling fine...it won't be long! =)

Love the jars!!! So cute! "suds and socks!" heehee!! Hope you enjoy the soap!
I love the jars in your laundry room! Your shelves and baskets make everything look so nice and coordinated! My husband is still trying to convince me that this isn't practical for a laundry room but he sure did like that my recent decorating also made it more functional and organized!! :) He's learnin'
I like your jars and decals! Good job!
Love the jars - ESPECIALLY the sock one! Brilliant! :)
I love the lost sock jar! So much more fun that piling them in the laundry basket like I do!
I am featuring your jars on my blog tomorrow!
So cute. I have a "lonely sock basket". Your jar is WAAAAY cuter.
Your laundry room looks wonderful! And the lost sock jar is just brilliant. My only problem is that three of the men in this house wear such huge socks that my lost sock jar would need to be bigger than my laundry soap jar!
Where did you get the cute vinyl decals?
Thanks to all of you for your nice comments - so glad you like the jars! I ordered the vinyl decals from Etsy - they came in a set of 3, made custom to your specifications. My third one says "sweets" for a candy jar that's in my pantry. I LOVE labels - the possibilities are endless!
